I sort quickly through the papers on the desk, but nothing looks useful. Moving on to the drawers, I notice one seems jammed shut. Convinced it has something worth my time, I pry at it with a pair of scissors and manage to get it open. There is only a small sheet of torn paper with a note on it at the bottom of the drawer.  

Pick up the note and return to the room.
